Popclogs is down again

popclogs is a ghost ship with nobody at the helm
Apparently our beloved Popclogs is down again, and this time almost looks to be for realsies. Tres sad. Some PHP error or something

Got together with the loyal followers on FB and what emerged was, for me, at least, a list

1. draft some sort of draft to send to Jon Hibbins, the last known person, to some alternate address (A G will help with this)
points to address are
- what's up
- what's the holdup (the error message, is it a hosting thing?)
- evince gratitude & whatnot
- we would like to not have him bear the burden of it alone
- at th very least get an answer, is it going down or not?
- if so can we at least get our data

2. find said alternate email address

3. contact Joey who is computer savvy, and poss. our own Betty who knows something re PHP, just for a sense of what's wrong and what it would entail to have it be fixed

Aside from that, I want to continue my own main pursuits on this site which was

- the 5 daily (or close) gratitudes
- the process known as Bootcamp
- the be an utter failure goal

GRATITUDES
yesterday
1. though we lost a great man 2 years ago, his spirit is still with us. Taking a small moment of time (too small) to celebrate that
2. interesting thought-provoking exchanges on that other site I waste so much time on
3. called the credit cards and got $100 literally, of late fees reversed from when i lost the plot with bills back in Nov. YAY!!!
4. finished the filing system (so, my 52 tasks in 52 weeks for this week!) which involved finding That Birth Data to murder that last illusion
5. feeling more focused and accomplished than I did even a week ago due to the wins

today
1. We finished and submitted Jimbo novel!! At the very last minute
2. Some interesting developments on that other site I waste so much time on (not particularly as fruitful as I'd fancied but interesting nonetheless)
3. things and ppl seem to be doing well at jobs
4. bro coming to town next weekend and saw C - line today
5. the sense that having a big goal like a crazy deadline (even if not fruitful and wholly arbitrary) really helped to rally the troops and focus the efforts

THE DAILY FAILS
1. the funny bit re the house next door
2. the inherent FAIL which is participating on that other site I waste so much time on (henceforth, TOS) but how I persist in it for no foggiest idea why - did manage to moderate though
3. still committing to daily process/list though effort is a FAIL when you, you know, go to bed at 7am and other cray stuff
4. THE NOVEL. EPIC FAIL. Trying to write a novel in a week (!!!) 60k words, and possibly fucking up the formatting at the last minute so they did not receive the final 2k words and the inherent hubris in submitting for a contest  a first draft of a novel that was possibly incomplete. STill, we wrote the bugger, submitted it on deadline, and that's all that matters.
5. the way the g - d word processor kept crashing and probably contributed to the submitting Fail

BOOTCAMP - theme was set it all on fire
my ideas re that from what I recall was my main objectives are
1. enthusiasm for life, which sums up to not assuming everything's about to go to the devil at any moment (part of purpose of the Fail goal)
2. don't quite remember but it was something like will to power or committment or somesuch
3. burn thru the clutter - of the mind and the physical space

tomorrow:
- draft email and get with A. G.
- call real estate re house next door
- do autopay for Frontier site
- JOBS: - update fb etc re new Omari stuff (emails too) + bit re raffle (get with W)
              - enter new email addresses
              - email Duarte (or even call?)
- post 5 things for sale for reals this time (10)
- start a woods
- music
- reading
- items on chore list

weekly:
  • 52 weeks item: filing
  • chore lists complete
  • finish 3 woods
  • post 5 things online (ebay, amazon, etc)
  • 4 hours training (PHP, Joomla, routers, networking, VPN's)
  • 2 hours computer general reading
  • finish one book (or 1/2 a big one)
  • sub one wtg JH novel counts
  • view next deadline Sorry ... story
  • go to one event/party c - line came over... counts? Also NYE thing
  • meet one new person (convo)

Monthly goals -
  • clean/clear one area (take to Goodwill, massive clean, throw out trash - can be living room, office, back office, bedroom, etc front porch
  • send MA newsletter - good start with novel videos
  • Azule newsletter and grant stuff
  • finish one piece well of music
  • review emails and populate pub calendar and upcoming deadlines
  • host an event/party (even if just casual/few ppl) JBerh and C - line came over (separately)

We want writers who are aware of the greater cultural, aesthetic, and social significance of their subject, be it domestic, international, avant-garde, classic, or contemporary cinema. We will also consider pieces on television, video art, viral videos, Vines, or any of the other alternative forms that moving images might take.
